<p>This was my first trip to the <a href="http://www.laphil.com/philpedia/wdch-overview.cfm" target="_blank">Disney Concert Hall</a> and it&#8217;s beautiful with amazing sound but it&#8217;s also smaller than I thought. Seems to be a reoccurring theme when I enter buildings I admire from afar.</p>
<p>On to the music. As I said, the sound was perfect, maybe too perfect (again, I walked in and was immediately hit by a wave of disappointment) but it was great to hear music from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E.T._the_Extra-Terrestrial" target="_blank">ET</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spartacus_%281960_film%29" target="_blank">SPARTACUS</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinatown_%28film%29" target="_blank">CHINATOWN</a> and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_Indemnity_%28film%29" target="_blank">DOUBLE INDEMNITY</a>. For an encore, &#8220;The Imperial March&#8221; from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Empire_Strikes_Back" target="_blank">THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK</a>.</p>
<p>As the encore ended, I thought for second, wonder what might be my favorite bit of Williams score. I think it&#8217;s <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman_%28film%29" target="_blank">SUPERMAN</a> but I reserve the right to change my mind. What about you?</p>
